What is a Wholesale Buying Club?
Combine your purchasing power with your friends, family and the neighbors in your community by becoming a member of The Harvest Market's Wholesale Buying Club. A buying club allows you to access bulk shipments of food, in a volume that generates a discounted price from the seller (in this case our small farm partners). Club members benefit from a lower per-unit cost and from an increased sense of community and sharing.
How do I become a Founding Member?
Unfortunately, all the Founding Memberships have sold out.
However, starting in May we will be offering standard memberships. All standard memberships will include access to purchasing monthly meat packages at wholesale prices and access to purchasing on our members only platform where prices are up to 20% off over retail. Our Standard subscriptions will be as follows:

Where do you get your products?
We are excited to have partnered with several well established family owned farms in the Hudson Valley region of New York and the Appalachian Mountain region of New Jersey. All farms have a combined total of 200 years of experience, so they are able to provide you with the best quality humanely raised meats with no antibiotics or growth hormones.

We are also partnered with several local Bermuda farms and are working on adding local Bermuda fisherman to our platform soon!

As we expand, we will continue to add more partner farms to our program and will report back to our members through our quarterly newsletter.
How much money will I save?
At the Harvest Market, we can offer average discounts of between 15% - 25% on comparable meats and produce sold in the grocery store. Membership in our Wholesale Buying club can save you even more. Standard membership gives you discounts and specials all year long. But Founding Members can save even more than standard members with special wholesale pricing just for them, free delivery and special wholesale prices for items purchased on our Members Only online market.
Do you only sell meat?
Currently, we are only selling meat through our Wholesale Buying Club Membership program. We are continuing to provide our customers with a variety of other products from local producers through our Online Farmers Market located on the Sargasso Sea platform.

Due to the challenges of COVID 19, we are taking a wait and see approach to providing all our customers with meats from our NY and NJ farms. The damage to the supply chain that has occurred in the US is keeping us from expanding our meat supply outside of our Membership base only. We have also decided that we will not be bring in produce from our US farm partners yet, as well, as we want to support our local farmers during these difficult times.
Once the pandemic has subsided and the supply chain has gotten back to normal we will readjust our plans. We anticipate a normalization of the supply chain by mid 2021. In the meantime, please check us out on our Sargasso Sea platform and support our local farmers!

What are the payment options?
We are now live on the Sargasso Sea App where we can accept credit cards. Alternatively, you can call us to place an order and we can coordinate a bank transfer.

We are in the process of setting up our buying platform on this website, so that we can accept credit cards directly from our customers. Check back for updates on our progress.
Do you sell meat and produce from Bermuda farmers?
Currently we do not sell meat from Bermuda farmers, however we are working with local farms that produce meat to hopefully add them to our online meat market soon. So keep an an eye out on this site and our Sargasso Sea platform for information updates on local meat sales.
We have however already partnered with local organic farms in Southampton and in St. Davids to provide our customers with the highest quality of organic local produce available on our Island. We have begun selling produce on our Online Market from our local farm partners with more farms coming soon.

It is our goal to partner with more small local organic farmers in Bermuda, so we can continue to provide our customers with local products and help our small Bermuda farmers more easily get their harvests to the market.

Gift cards can be used for purchases of products on our Online Market, for Wholesale Club memberships, or our subscription plans​ and are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. Unfortunately, they cannot be used for Sargasso Sea delivery fees.
